Doug is currently Vice President of Business Sales at Hughes Network Systems, where he’s spent over two decades helping businesses across the U.S. and internationally adopt managed network services, particularly satellite-based solutions. With a background in engineering and leadership roles spanning sales, marketing, and business development.

Doug holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University, where he met his wife, Elisa. They’ve lived in Frederick, MD for over 26 years and raised five sons together.

A lifelong investor and self-described audiophile, Doug is passionate about financial independence, the stock market, and high-end audio gear. When he’s not immersed in market trends or music, you’ll find him cycling, riding motorcycles, or playing pickleball with friends.

Fun fact: Doug was once arrested in Russia during a college abroad trip—an experience that involved big plainclothes officers, a paddy wagon, and a story he’s still telling today.
