Michele Knorr is a dedicated professional and community advocate with a strong foundation in business and education. She graduated from Loyola College in 1991 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Marketing. Michele began her career as a liability claims specialist before shifting her focus to her most important role—as CFO and COO of her household.
Michele’s late husband, Christopher Knorr, was a valued member of the advisory board, and through her continued relationship with BFG, she is proud to carry forward the shared dreams and vision they built together. In his honor, Michele and her children established a foundation that has awarded numerous local scholarships, supporting causes that were close to Christopher’s heart.
Currently, Michele serves as an English Language Development paraeducator in the Howard County Public School System and also works as a bilingual interpreter for the county. Her work with students is deeply fulfilling and aligns with her sense of purpose.
Outside of her professional life, Michele enjoys spending quality time with her adult children—her daughter in North Carolina and son in Virginia. She also finds joy in hiking, working out, and expressing her creativity through cooking.
Michele brings compassion, resilience, and a community-centered mindset to the advisory board, continuing a legacy of service and impact.
