We’re proud to celebrate Claudia Glover, Chief Investment Officer at BFG Financial Advisors, as a recipient of The Daily Record’s 2026 Maryland’s Hispanic Leadership Awards. This recognition honors her professional accomplishments, leadership, and commitment to helping others create opportunities for themselves.
For Claudia, that commitment has roots in her own family’s story. Born in Guatemala, she moved to the United States at a young age and witnessed the sacrifices, discipline, and determination it takes to build a life in a new country. Her parents, particularly her father, inspired her interest in finance through the way they managed their money, worked hard, and created stability for their family. Their example continues to influence how she serves clients and leads today.
As BFG’s Chief Investment Officer and Chair of our Investment Committee, Claudia oversees investment strategy and helps shape the future of our firm. She brings expertise and thoughtful decision-making to those responsibilities, along with a deeply personal understanding of what financial security can mean for a family.
Her leadership also carries significance beyond BFG. As a Hispanic woman in executive leadership within the wealth management industry, Claudia understands the importance of representation. She openly shares her experiences as a woman, an immigrant, and a minority, encouraging others to pursue their ambitions and advocate for themselves. Her example helps young professionals see possibilities for their own careers.
That same commitment to creating opportunities extends to financial education. Through financial literacy initiatives, client education programs, and BFG’s Wealth & Wellness Series, Claudia helps make financial knowledge more accessible. Her work gives individuals and families tools to better understand their options and make informed decisions about their futures.
