Supporting the fight against breast cancer means more than showing up for a single event—it’s about standing beside survivors, honoring loved ones, and helping create hope for those currently facing the disease.
That’s why BFG Financial Advisors was proud to sponsor the 2024 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, hosted by the American Cancer Society. Every year, this event brings together thousands of participants who share a common goal: raising awareness, funding life-saving research, and supporting individuals and families affected by breast cancer.
As an event sponsor, our team created an interactive booth where participants could stop by, spin our prize wheel, win giveaways, and take a break while connecting with members of the BFG team. Throughout the day, our tent became a gathering place filled with conversation, laughter, and encouragement—a reflection of the supportive spirit that defines the Making Strides community.
While the prizes and activities brought smiles, the most meaningful moments came from the people we met. Survivors shared stories of resilience. Families walked in honor of loved ones. Friends and coworkers came together to support a cause that has touched so many lives. Those conversations served as a powerful reminder that behind every ribbon is a personal story of strength, hope, and perseverance.
At BFG, we believe community involvement is about creating genuine connections. Events like Making Strides allow us to do just that—not only by supporting an important cause financially, but by being present, engaging with participants, and celebrating the incredible spirit of the community.
Our partnership with the American Cancer Society extends beyond the walk itself. Through our volunteer work at Hope Lodge Baltimore and our continued support of cancer-related initiatives, we’re committed to helping individuals and families navigate some of life’s most difficult challenges with compassion and care.
